Saturday 3rd July saw the annual Wymondham Rugby Club Ball take place at their clubhouse on the outskirts of Wymondham.

The event, which was organised by Softley Events, was attended by 160 guests, who enjoyed a sumptuous dinner catered for by Chris Coubrough and his team from The Flying Kiwi Inns. The menu included rare roast beef or salmon and crayfish, accompanied by a selection of mouth-watering seasonal salads, followed by an exquisite lemon tart.

Entertainment on the night was provided by the Sally Taylor band who got guests on their feet and dancing to a selection of hits from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and during the course of the evening, a raffle was also drawn to raise much needed funds for the Club.

“It was one of the hottest nights of the year so far and a real challenge for the catering and waiting staff, but everyone carried out their duties like clockwork and the guests had a wonderful time. It is a real privilege for Softley Events to be able to be involved with fundraising events in the local community and we look forward to continuing to work with Wymondham Rugby Club in the coming months and years”.
