Tickets for Think Pink 2010 Go On Sale!

Dazzling new website launches ticket sales for the 2010 Think Pink Ball.

June 2010 saw the launch of ticket sales for this year’s Think Pink ball and as the organizational headquarters of the Think Pink event 2010, Softley Events have been inundated with calls and bookings for the event.

By kind permission of owner James Boddy , the ball will take place on Friday 10th September 2010 in a marquee in the stunning grounds of Colney Hall. This year’s event will see 450 guests enjoy a sumptuous three course dinner created by celebrity chef Chris Coubrough and his team from the award winning Flying Kiwi Inns, arrival drink and wine, live entertainment, and dancing until late. There will also be a luxury auction of prizes that money can’t buy, a circus tombola and a ‘Gourmet Giveaway’.

The ball has already secured a generous headline sponsorship donation from OpenContact. The Norwich-based call centre provider, has been leading the way in outsourced call centre solutions in the UK since 2000. Based in Norwich, OpenContact is a family firm, which delivers a full package of fulfilment needs including managing incoming and outbound calls, handling all post, carrying out mailings, warehousing and distribution and data services, and serves clients both locally and nationwide.

Fiona Temple, Managing Director, said :

“We are thrilled to be able to support this year’s Think Pink event and extremely proud to be headline sponsor for 2010. We have no doubt that the Think Pink team will put together a spectacular event and we very much look forward to helping raise funds for such deserving charities.”

The ball will this year raise funds for three deserving breast cancer charities – Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Keeping Abreast and The Rosemary Group – and in a real departure from previous events, the Think Pink committee have given this year’s ball a circus theme. A ringmaster will be taking the place of a master of ceremonies, the dancefloor will be replaced by a traditional grand ring and circus acts, supplied by  The Edge Entertainment Consultants, will be on hand to enthral guests.

The committee, consisting of Sarah Softley, Director of Softley Events, PR & Marketing Consultant Anna Stevenson and local businesswoman, Ruth Thurston, are delighted to report that they have received a fantastic response to the ball, with over half of the tickets available already reserved.

Sarah Softley, Director of Softley Events,  said :

“We are all businesswomen who come into contact with a lot of people during the course of our day-to-day lives and it is only natural that we have been mentioning the ball, especially as the plans begin to take shape. We are overwhelmed that before even going on sale, over half of our tickets are reserved, so we strongly recommend that anyone who would like to join us on 10th September, buy their tickets sooner than later.”

To support ticket sales and to give guests a real taste of what Think Pink 2010 is all about, the committee have also launched a stunning new website – www.thinkpinknorfolk.co.uk. The site, which officially went live on 11th June, was kindly designed, created and supplied by husband and wife team Gareth and Belinda James from Gareth James Graphic Design, Sam Symonds of A New Leaf Design and the team at Lucid Digital Media. Visitors to the site will see a real taste of the circus theme which they can look forward to on the night.

Sarah Softley, Director of Softley Events,  said :

“We are incredibly grateful to Gareth James Graphic Design, A New Leaf Design and Lucid Digital Media, all of whom have donated their time and services for free to design our fantastic new website. In addition, we are extremely grateful to Weatherill Brothers (Hire) Limited, ETS Lighting and The Edge Entertainment Consultants, as well as Chris Coubrough and the team at the Flying Kiwi Inns, for their support. It is only with the generous assistance of individuals and companies such as these that events like our Think Pink Ball are able to happen and we strongly urge anyone who feels in a position to donate their time or services to get in touch!”
