And now, after juggling event planning with the demands of a family and part-time job, Sarah has decided to build on her success and focus fully on Softley Events. As well as arranging private and corporate events, Softley Events, which is based in Barnham Broom, is launching an exclusive director’s dining club. “Whatever the event – whether it’s a themed ball for 500 or an intimate dinner for two – our aim is to surpass a client’s expectation through attention to detail” she explained. One of Sarah’s first events is the launch of The Dining Room, an invitation –only dining club for senior business leaders. The inaugural event will be a dinner at Tatlers Restaurant, Norwich on Thursday April 19. “The Dining Room will be the total opposite of the networking events that so many people loathe, where everyone is intent on giving their sales pitch and business cards to as many attendees a possible,” she said. “We will be very selective about who we invite, to ensure events are stimulating and sociable. Membership will be restricted to one per business with a strict limit on the number of guests from any one sector. n Softley Events can be contacted by calling 01603 759 336 or by visiting www.softleyevents.co.uk |
